The base model (MX377) of The Exam Room Scale features a 750 pound capacity, Befour’s proprietary MotionLock technology, and ECO-Weigh power management system providing more than 100,000 weight readings on a single set of batteries. The MX877 includes a 360° rotatable integrated digital height rod mounted on the right side of the scale. Should your room layout dictate, the scale can be specified with the digital height rod located on the left side of the display console (MX877L).

ECO Weigh battery system provides 5 to 70 times the battery life of comparable healthcare scales. Battery life a scale is unmatched by all standards. If using (6) C-cell alkaline batteries, you can expect over 80000 weight readings from a single set and (4) D-cell alkaline batteries will provide an incredible 100,000+ weighings on a single set. ECO-weigh system eliminates any need for additional adapters or power cords, saving money and creating the ability to use the scale anywhere - no wall outlet required.

MotionLock Technology automatically determines accurate weight for unsteady users.

Most scales in the healthcare field today have difficulty achieving an accurate weight reading when the user cannot hold still for a period of time. MotionLock Technology - a unique proprietary software that facilitates a quick and accurate weight even for the most unsteady user. This technology is built into every one of our Professional Healthcare Scales and is included as a standard feature.

Once on the platform, the weight of most patients will be displayed in 2 seconds. however if the scale detects excessive movement, MotionLock automatically activates and computes an accurate weight - generally within 0.2 pounds of the "true stable weight".

All of this is done automatically, without the intervention of the care provider or patient.

Befour's professional healthcare scales, with the CX7 Display Console, facilitate both wired and wireless measurement data transmission. The measurement may be weight-only or weight/height/BMI.

Wireless connectivity requires Befour’s optional BLE-7 Bluetooth Smart module. This module plugs inside any CX7 console in minutes to provide wireless connectivity to Android or Apple IOS devices. This is an optional add-on and not part of the standard features.

Befour has developed apps for receiving and manipulating the scale measurement data for both Android and Apple iOS devices. If you are a provider, please contact Befour's technical engineering team to discuss interfacing your scale with your specific EHR/EMR system.

The scale may be programmed so that the ON button need NOT be pressed to turn on, eliminating the need to physically touch the display console. This feature comes standard, at no extra cost, and can be activated at our factory, prior to shipping, or by the provider, in the field.
