DD-330R-D8 and AD-330R-D5 feature the new Smart Recharge System, which detects and charges rechargeable batteries. If non-rechargeable batteries are used, the system will not attempt to charge them, which can cause dangerous battery leakage. To conserve battery life, an auto-off timer activates after 3 minutes.

The ACUDOP II Ultrasound Doppler System automatically detects which probe is being used and optimizes the sound quality accordingly. The probes are interchangeable, and additional probes are available - See accessories below. 5MHz probes are ideal for located deep blood vessels, and 8MHz probes are ideal for locating shallow blood vessels.

The speaker is loud and clear, and headphones may also be used, even if the volume has been muted. Advanced audio processing technology converts the audio signal to digital, removing background noise and allowing for greater clarity.
